The town of Sinaia is a popular destination in the colder months for winter sports, especially downhill skiing. The Sinaia Ski Resort is probably one of the most well known in all of Romania. It is a short distance from Bucharest, Romania’s capital, and is located in Prahova county.

There are 16 slopes with varying difficulties, so whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, Sinaia Ski Resort has something for everyone. The ski-lift entrances can be reached by bus line T2 (the pink line). The highest peak of the mountain is situated at an elevation of 2,103m, which can be accessed by cable car.

To ride it, it costs:

20 lei (roughly 4 euros) per adult to ascend or descend.
